Transcript
- Period Comparison puts two periods side by side, metric by metric.
- Choose a quick comparison, like the last 28 days against the 28 days before.
- Every metric shows the previous value, the current value, and the change, in numbers and in percent.
- Rates are compared in percentage points. A zero earlier value is explained, not turned into a misleading percentage.
- The day by day charts use the same scale, so the two periods are easy to compare.
- You can also choose your own dates for each period.
- Or compare two exports from the same platform, and download the result as CSV.
How to use Period Comparison
Compares two periods of one dataset, or two exports from the same platform, metric by metric, with absolute and percentage changes.
- Choose two periods in one dataset (quick choices fit inside your data), or switch to Two datasets.
- Read the table: previous, current, change and percentage change for every metric.
- Rates are compared in percentage points; a percentage change is not shown when the earlier value is zero.
- Notes warn when a period isn't fully covered by the data. Download the comparison as CSV.
