How to use the Content Brief Builder

Turns a rough idea into a structured brief before you start writing or filming, so everyone agrees on the audience, angle and structure.

  1. Enter the topic and who it's for. These two are required.
  2. Choose the content type, objective, tone and length.
  3. Optionally add keywords to use and constraints (for example “no jargon”).
  4. Press “Build brief”. You get a working title, objective, audience, main message, angle, key points, structure, call to action and assumptions.
  5. Edit the brief in place, then copy it or download it as Markdown. The brief contains no research: add facts from sources you have checked.

Separate with commas.

One per line, for example “no jargon” or “under 1,000 words”.

Your brief appears here. Fill in the topic and audience, then press “Build brief”.
