Content & Workflow Workbench
Plan, rewrite, summarise and repurpose content in one place
The Content & Workflow Workbench has eight tools for everyday writing jobs: a brief and an outline before you start, a tone rewriter and a summariser for text you have, and builders for repurposed versions, SEO titles and descriptions, social posts and emails. They use fixed rules and templates on your own words, so nothing is invented, and everything runs in your browser.

How it works
Step 1
Pick a tool
Plan with the brief and outline builders, improve text with the rewriter and summariser, or prepare it for publishing with the repurposing, SEO, social and email tools.
Step 2
Fill in the form
Required fields are checked first, with a clear message if something is missing.
Step 3
Generate and edit
The result appears next to the form and is fully editable, with word and character counts. The rewriter lists every change it made.
Step 4
Copy or download
Copy the result or download it as a Markdown or text file. Reset clears everything.
What people use it for
Plan a video or blog post
Turn an idea into a brief and a heading outline you can reorder and edit.
Reuse one piece in many places
Make a short post, a professional post, a video script, a newsletter intro, an excerpt and a promo line from one article.
Change the tone of a message
Make a draft more professional, friendlier, more formal or simpler, and see each change.
Get the gist of long notes
Summarise meeting notes or a report and pull out possible action items, names, dates and figures.
Good to know
- The tools use rules and templates, not AI: they rework your own words and can't research, fact-check or write new ideas.
- The rewriter changes words and phrases, not whole sentences; review important text before you publish.
- SEO checks are character counts and keyword checks; no ranking is promised.
- Nothing is saved: copy or download your result before leaving the page.
Questions
Is this an AI writing tool?
No. Every tool uses fixed rules and templates applied to what you type, so results are predictable and contain no invented facts. Anything you didn't provide stays as a marked [placeholder].
Is my text uploaded?
No. The tools run in your browser and your text is not sent to BenchCove or anyone else.
Can I edit the results?
Yes. Every result is an editable text box with live word and character counts, and can be copied or downloaded.
Where do the hashtag ideas come from?
From words and phrases repeated in your own text. There is no trend data, so check them before use.
Is it free?
Yes, free with no sign-up or account.
